Echosmith

Echosmith

2020-02-20

The lights fade to black.

The speakers start to crackle with little snippets of your favorite Echosmith songs like "Over my Head" , "Cool Kids" , and everything else.

Noah Sierota, the bassist, comes out and heads to the top part of the stage and starts to play on the keyboard. He starts playing "Love You Better" before he comes down and heads to his mic.

Suddenly you see Sydney Sierota run out smiling as giant balls of confetti are passed and bounce around the crowd. As they come on to the stage, Sydney starts to pop...

Tove Lo

Tove Lo

2020-02-19

Last time Tove Lo was in Chicago, it was in 2017 at Lollapalooza.

Well 3 years have passed and now she's back. Having recently released a new album called "Sunshine Kitty" which is being supported by a new tour of course!

Luckily for me, she came back to Chicago and sold out the Riviera Theatre!

Sadly though, Tove Lo injured her ankle so she had to sit the entire performance in a very beautiful pink chair. However, that didn't stop her from giving an incredible show!...

Trippie Redd

Trippie Redd

2020-02-14

Walking up to the box office window I could see multiple signs posted on the glass "SOLD-OUT"! It's happened at many of the dates on this tour so I was excited to see what all the hype around this young artist was all about.

Three opening acts took the stage before the feature act, and I was glad to have arrived at the venue early. Each performer was massively entertaining in their own right as they worked the crowd and getting them excited for the headliner.

By 9 p.m., the crowd is in a near frenzy chanting in unison "Trippie, Trippie, Trippie".... But they would have to wait, and wait and wait... 9:15... 9:25... 9:35... and still nothing....

Hitting it up on the stage before Trippie took over, BlocBoy JB got the crowd hyped and ready to jam.

So Don't Be Mad and get the House Party started. Clap Out y'all and enjoy the show.

Kodie Shane

Kodie Shane

2020-02-14

Warming up the crowd and getting them hyped for Trippie Redd, Atlanta's Kodie Shane took the stage and KILLED it!

This fresh young artist worked every part of the stage and got everyone to jump and dance along with the beat.

The audience shows their appreciation calling out "Kodie!" on several occasions.

They love her performance.

I love her expressiveness. She put so much emotion into her set, it was awesome....

Opening the night before Kodie Shane, BlobBoy JB or Trippie Redd took the stage Flash Gottii totally hyped-up the crowd and got them ready for the night.

This guy's set was dope and everyone should check him out!

Lamb of God

Lamb of God

2020-02-14

Here in Chicago, on Valentine's Day most people are with their significant others, but when Lamb of God announced a FREE SHOW at the House of Vans celebrating their new album, you know what it means.

Doors opened at 7 p.m., but fans had been waiting since 10 in the morning wanting to be up close and right on the barricade for their favorite band!

It was first come, first serve. If it being a free show there was now reserved seating so the true fans got there early to secure their spot.

When the clock struck 9 p.m. the real madness began....

Dirty Honey

Dirty Honey

The Rolling 7's tour

Dirty Honey is becoming the next big rock band of this generation. One reason, they have so much energy on stage and it translates to a great time for the entire crowd! They don’t just stay in one area of the stage; they moved around and have a great interaction with the audience. It's something not a lot of rock bands do anymore.

Another reason is the singer, Marc Labelle. He gives off an Axl Rose (Guns and Roses) and Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) vibe when he sings. His voice...
