Their set featured songs from their new discography, like "I Choose Love" and Konez was even joined on vocals by Lunn for a surprise ending. Ahead of the show, Zoe answered a few questions about their time on the road, musical inspirations, their fan connection, and much more! Kendall Vowels (KV): Welcome back to the live stage! How has tour been so far for you? Zoe Konez (ZK): It's been wild! This is the first time we've performed our CATBEAR songs live so... Click to Read More......

Colony House - Interview
2022-07-07
Sitting across from me in a coffee shop near London Bridge, I talked with 3/4 of Colony House (Caleb Chapman, Parke Cottrell, and Scott Mills) ahead of the first-ever London headliner. Despite Caleb's actual brother Will, drummer of Colony House, having to skip out this time, the three guys interacted like brothers themselves. Their long history as a band and friends unveiled some deep reflections and fun stories as we talked about their first European headlining show, releasing an album independently, their full-length film, wine, new music, and more. Kendall Vowels (KV): You guys just played Dublin the other night? How did it go and how did it feel to be in Europe? Parke Cottrell (PC): Pretty awesome. It was our first time headlining any show over here. We didn't know exactly what to expect. We were just hoping people showed up. We know a little bit more information ahead of time about tonight's show about ticket sales but we didn't get that for the Dublin shows. So it was a big question mark... Click to Read More......

push baby
By: Kendall Vowels
2022-05-03
I sat down with Jake Roche and Charley Bagnall of push baby to talk all things new music, being present, and solicitation by a male sex toy company. Kendall Vowels (KV): So you’ve gone the indie route now? Jake Roche (JR): We’re just starting again at the grassroots level and figuring it out. But it’s good. It’s really good. You just realize how spoiled you were going from such a huge, pop world, if you will, to this. And I think a lot of people would have given up by now. But fuck it, this is fun - what else am I going to do? KV: What do you think coming from that pop world and being in the music industry for so long taught... Click to Read More......
